Abstract: This Special Session delves into the transformative potential of game-based approaches in the domain of healthcare–for instance, for assessment and rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The presentations will highlight the impact of serious games and gamification (especially exergames in virtual and augmented settings) on extending clinical tasks beyond traditional settings. Indeed, these solutions can now be ubiquitously integrated to offer accessible, personalized, and effective strategies into patients' daily lives, especially at home. The session invites discussions on the latest advancements, practical applications, and future trajectories of clinical gaming in transforming healthcare.
